First International Day of the Donut Economy - CDMX2023

The Tricolor Coalition, representative in Mexico and Latin America ofDonut Economics Action Lab, will celebrate theInternational Donut Economy Day, in conjunction with associations and groups around the world. The purpose is to maximize the transformation potential of the donut economy, spread its principles of sustainability and support a better future for our city. We recognize that a sustainable future is a complex challenge, which requires the participation of diverse actors and the inclusion of many points of view.

With this in mind, we are going to facilitate two programs: the first is the international DEAL program, where the Tricolor Coalition, along with other coalitions around the world, will interact digitally. The second, the local program, consists of a discussion panel and five seminars, facilitated by experts, to discuss the most relevant topics on sustainability in CDMX from a systemic perspective.

Diary:

• 9-10 am: Donut Economy as a vision on sustainability in CDMX
• 10-11 am: A Sustainable Mexico City: Imagining and building the sustainable future we seek.
• 11-12 pm: Leveraging our capabilities in sustainability: Standing on the shoulders of giants.
• 12-1 pm: Dialogue with Experts and Youth
• 1-1:30: Conclusions
• 1:30 -2:30: Artistic presentations
